Environmental and Financial Indicators Remain Healthy
Kingston, NY (August 07, 2017) –Financial competence remains healthy after the fiscal stress of Ulster County government was objectively tested. Five categories, including fund balance, operating deficits, cash position, short term debt, and fixed costs were analyzed and appear to indicate that the County has remained stable while operating within a complex set of fiscal constraints.
The 2017 2nd Quarter report released by Ulster County Comptroller Elliott Auerbach also highlights a number of environmental indicators, including population change, property values and sales tax receipts that impact the County’s overall economic health.
