Following is the Charter-mandated Annual Report of the Ulster County Comptroller’s Office for 2024. The report contains a summary of our work from the last year. It has been our honor to provide internal audit recommendations to the Executive and Legislature for saving, earning, and recovering funds for Ulster County taxpayers.
Many opportunities continue exist for strengthening internal controls and these risks are identified in the report. We look forward to continuing to work with both the Executive and the Legislature in this current year and beyond to improve services, transparency, and accountability for the people of Ulster County.
