Ulster County’s Cannabis Revenues Higher than Anticipated While County Experiences Unclear Communications from State

Kingston, NY (July 28, 2025)– Ulster County Comptroller March Gallagher released the Ulster County Adult Use Cannabis Tax Collections report today. The report showed issues with inconsistent information reported to the County by the New York State Office of Cannabis Management, and related issues with the disbursement of cannabis tax to the local municipalities situated within Ulster County.
